ROBIN COTLER

ROBIN COTLER

Owner, Artistic Director & Teacher

Robin has been collectively performing, training professionals, and choreographing dance for over 40 years, and is the owner and artistic director of both Images In Dance in New York and The Cotler Dance Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She attended Point Park College in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on scholarship for dance and has performed throughout the east coast in productions such as the Miss New York State Pageant, Alvin Slaughter, and at ArtPark.

Robin is a Master Teacher, and has been training professionals throughout the east coast, Canada, and Europe. She served as Regional Director for the Christopher National Dance Teacher Seminars for five years, is a member of Dance Masters of America, and is convention teacher and adjudicator for Bedazzled National Dance Competition. For two consecutive years, Robin lead master classes for European Dance Festivals where her professional company, Evolution Dance Company, was invited to perform. She has directed several dance and theater productions and was selected as one of the 50 Up and Coming Dance Studios by Dance Teacher and Dance Spirit Magazine.

Many of Robin’s students are or have worked professionally in the dance field. Some of her pupils are now dancing in Internationally touring dance companies, on cruise ships, in commercial work, have premiered on shows such as America’s Got Talent, and in other theater or talent productions. Many of her students have gone on to teach at state college’s, in performing arts schools or are teaching dance elsewhere. Robin’s goals are to continue to guide every student in realizing their on potential as an artist and to inspire audiences with innovative new works.

NOELLE COTLER

NOELLE COTLER

Co-Director & Teacher

Noelle began her dance training at her mother Robin Cotler’s, dance studio, Images In Dance, in Batavia, New York at the age of 2. While attending grade school Noelle had the opportunity to study at Jacobs Pillow and the New York State Summer School for the Arts (NYSSA) as well as several other intensives and competitions nationally. Noelle continued her studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, where she received her BFA in dance as a ballet major and was awarded outstanding honors in ballet performance. Upon graduation in 2011, Noelle moved to Venice Italy to dance with The Arsenale Della Danza under the direction of Ismael Ivo. She has worked with choreographers such as Francesca Harper, Johaness Wieland, Rosie Herrera, Roni Koresh, Kate Weare, Marrion Ballester, Douglas Becker and many more. Noelle has been blessed to perform, teach and choreograph throughout Italy, Poland, Brazil, Austria and the United States. Prior to moving to South Florida, Noelle worked with contemporary dance company, Groundworks Dance Theater of Cleveland OH, as a performing artist, outreach instructor and program director of ballet studies at The Rainey Institute.

Noelle’s relocation to South Florida has had her busy teaching throughout the area and country. She was the Artist In Residence at Dreyfoos High School of the Performing Arts in the 2016-2017 season and has lead several workshops at state universities and schools through out the country. She is current adjudicator and teacher for Turn It Around Tour and co-director of Robin Cotler Dance Center. Noelle is thrilled to expand her knowledge and artistry in the Florida dance community and beyond.

JOE COTLER

JOE COTLER

Joe grew up in Batavia, NY where he began his formal training under the direction of Robin Cotler at Images in Dance. He graduated from The University of the Arts in May 2009 with his BFA in Jazz Performance. While at school, he had the opportunity to work with numerous choreographers including Scott Jovovich, Roni Koresh and Paul Selwyn-Norton. While furthering his training at UArts, Joe worked as the dance swing at multiple theme parks on the east coast. Upon graduation, he joined Koresh Dance Company and is now going on his 10th season as a full-time member. He currently teaches and choreographs for numerous studios in the area and has had the opportunity to set his choreography on professional companies both in and outside of the Philadelphia area. Whether he’s performing or teaching, Joe will continue sharing the art of dance with people for years to come and is thrilled to be a part of the RCDC family.
JENNAFA BURRI

JENNAFA BURRI

Jennafa’s dance journey started in Boston at the age of 2 taking on Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, pointe and hip hop training at 2 studios in Boston. She was awarded a free scholarship to Boston Ballet at the age of 9 and she quickly fell in love with dance. She has held many Regional and National Dance titles. Top soloist won her the honor of dancing in her first televised appearance. Jennafa started as studio assistant at the age of 13 and quickly then there after found this being a true passion. After graduating high school in 2005, Jennafa continued to teach becoming head instructor while pursuing her passion and becoming a professional dancer in the NBA. She has traveled the country and taken class with world renowned masters in the art. Jennafa now resides in Florida with her husband Michael and two children, Michael and Melia. Her passion in life is not only to educate, but share every aspect that comes along with dance, to enhance every child’s potential to become their own artists. Her end goal is to have each dancer be confident, treat their fellow teammates with respect, and to push them to be proud of who they are, to never give up, as life will throw you many curve balls, you will always have your dance education to help you land gracefully. Jennafa looks forward to this new chapter and can’t wait to start this season at RCDC!
KAM FEDERICO

KAM FEDERICO

Kam Federico is a passionate and experienced dance instructor specializing in contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. A competitive dancer from a young age, Kam grew up training and performing in various styles before continuing to dance through college.

While studying at Florida International University, Kam was a member of the FIU Dazzlers and later joined Motiv Crew, a hip-hop crew based in Orlando. Kam went on to graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Kam is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers by sharing not only technique and performance, but also a deep love for the art of dance. Through every class, Kam hopes to empower young dancers to express themselves, grow confidently, and fall in love with movement.

BARBARA LENESKI

BARBARA LENESKI

A Boston native who began dancing at 3 years old. Her studies include tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, acrobatics, baton and ballroom. In 1989, she graduated from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and remained an active member for several years.

Barbara is a former chairperson for the Suffolk County Junior Miss Program. She has completed, with high honors, many levels of the National Medal Testing Program in tap, jazz, and ballet. Barbara is a former regional champion, competing both as a soloist and group company member. Her teaching specialties include beginner, intermediate, and advanced recreational and competitive dance. Also, lyrical/contemporary fusion, technique, and leaps and turns.

JESSICA MILLER

JESSICA MILLER

A graduate of both Bak and Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Jessica’s early training was guided by Colleen Smith and Ruth Petrinovich. Jessica professional career included two seasons with Alabama Ballet under the direction of Wes Chapman. Jessica’s stage experience spans iconic productions such as the The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Coppelia, and George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, some of her favorite roles include Cinderella and the Dew Drop Fairy! After her time performing, Jessica returned home to turn her attention to inspiring the next generation. For many years she taught foundational ballet to develop students love of ballet from the very first plie while receiving her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Jessica spent 15 years leading corporate wellness programming with NextEra Energy. Now a proud mother of three boys Jessica is honored to join the RCDC family, return to the studio, and share her knowledge, artistry, and joy with every dancer she teaches!
RAQUEL MIRGON

RAQUEL MIRGON

Raquel specializes in teaching the Vaganova method of ballet and has a strong foundation across multiple dance genres. She began her pre-professional training at the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet and continued her studies at City Dance Conservatory. Raquel competed at the internationally renowned Youth America Grand Prix, where she placed in the Top 12 and was awarded a scholarship to the Houston Ballet Academy.

With her versatile background, Raquel brings both technical expertise and artistry to her teaching. She is passionate about helping dancers develop focus, confidence, and a lifelong love for the art of dance.
